V = Volunteering opportunities
The association “Planet tiger” was established by Frederic Geffroy in 2011. Frédéric Geffroy invests a lot for the protection and the conservation of the tiger into 13 Asian countries where we find this animal in natural environment. He works closely with the local authorities, the French government, and Interpol.
The mission of Panthera is to provide a future for the wild big cats by through scientific direction and global conservation actions. Panthera implements effective strategies of preservation for the big cats and the most endangered ones in the world: tigers, lions, jaguars and snow leopards.
21st Century Tiger
Established in 1997, it is one of the top seven tiger funding agencies globally and has contributed over £2 million to over 130 individual proposals for 73 tiger projects in seven countries worldwide.
Wildlife Protection Society of India V
The Wildlife Protection Society of India (WPSI) was founded in 1994 by Belinda Wright, who was an award-winning wildlife photographer and filmmaker till she took up the cause of conservation. From its inception, WPSI’s main aim has been to bring a new focus to the daunting task of tackling India’s growing wildlife crisis.
Orangutan Outreach’s mission is to protect orangutans in their native habitat while providing care for orphaned and displaced orangutans until they can be returned to their natural environment. We seek to raise funds and promote public awareness of orangutan conservation issues by collaborating with partner organizations around the world.
The Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand V
WFFT is a foundation whose purpose is to help the mistreated wild animals, to educate in their preservation, to limit the hunting and to create beneficial actions by gathering its strengths to other organizations.
Tasikoki is one of the rescue center built in Indonesia with the aim to support the efforts of law enforcement against the illegal trade of flora and fauna. Currently, Tasikoki lives under the Foundation Masarang with the support of the foreign countries, local volunteers, the foundations, the organizations and the individual sponsors.
Elephant Nature Park is a whole project in the province of Chiang Mai, northern Thailand. Established in 1990, their purpose is to supply a sanctuary and a center in order to help the elephants, also including other animals (dogs, cats…).
