Farm Sanctuary was founded in 1986 to combat the abuses of factory farming and encourage a new awareness and understanding about farm animals. Today, Farm Sanctuary is the nation’s largest and most effective farm animal rescue and protection organization. Located in New York and California regions.
The gentle barn V
The Gentle Barn rescues animals from severe abuse and neglect who are too old, sick, lame, or scared to be adopted into homes. We are sanctuary to horses, donkeys, cows, pigs, sheep, goats, turkeys, chickens, llamas, peacocks, emus, cats and dogs. Once rehabilitated, the animals help us give hope and inspiration to children with the same stories. They are located in California and Tennessee.

The International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council (IWRC) was founded in 1972 in California by a group of individuals concerned about the care and conservation of native wildlife. Due in part to the intense urban growth and loss of native habitat the United States experienced in the 1970’s, more people were coming into contact with wild animals in distress.

Coast & Canyon Wildlife Rehabilitation V
Coast & Canyon Wildlife Rehabilitation is a volunteer run organization that helps injured and orphaned wildlife of the Los Angeles area, primarily baby squirrels. Last year our team of volunteers cared for over 1,100 orphaned, injured, or displaced wild animals in Los Angeles County. We pride ourselves on never turning away an animal in need, and never letting the cost of an animal’s care determine its future.
